About Me

A young woman with brown hair smiling outdoors in front of green foliage, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and beige pants, with her hands forming a heart shape over her stomach.

My name is Abbey Joy Cmiel and I am a healer, womb & breast-tender and student of the Earth.

The path to this practice was anything but linear.

I started in the world of achievement — high-performing, driven, doing everything right on paper. But my body knew something my mind hadn’t caught up to yet. So I listened.

I went to Uganda, where I first fell in love with reproductive health education. To Colombia, where I shed the layers of who I was supposed to be. To Costa Rica, where I studied herbal medicine and permaculture and remembered that the earth heals. To California, where Ayurveda and bodywork gave my hands a language for the care I’d been looking for my whole life.

Every stop was a homecoming. Every teacher — the herbalists, the healers, the land itself — brought me closer to what I now know:

Women’s bodies are sacred, intelligent, and worthy of extraordinary care. And that care barely exists.

So I built it.

My practice is rooted in Ayurveda, trained in lymphatic bodywork, and grounded in the study of hormonal and reproductive health. But honestly? It’s rooted in something older than any of that. It’s rooted in the belief that your breasts and womb are portals — to your health, to your power, to the life you’re creating — and they deserve the most tender, devoted care in the world. I am living proof that when we listen to our bodies, our ancestors, and our deepest knowing, everything shifts.

I’m here to help you trust that same listening in yourself.

In deep gratitude to my teachers & mentors

Testimonials

“I loved my consultation with Abbey. She is so knowledgeable and experienced and also caring and sincere.

It was really easy to talk to her about my health concerns and she worked with me to come up with solutions that were both practical and empowering.

Her approach to health education is very down-to-earth and also fun. I look forward to following up with her.”

Abbey is wonderful. She knows how to adjust the uterus with external work. My bladder is functioning so much better after only one adjustment.

She has helped my dry menopausal system get juiced up- my skin, lymph and joints are so much more supple. She has helped break down stuck fascia and old scar tissue.

I feel younger and am getting replenished at a deep level from working with her for only 3 sessions.”

“Abbey is a wonderful bodyworker! She is so grounded and vibrant. It was so clear that she was seeing me as I authentically am and envisioning with me the great assurance of health that is possible.”
